Well, let’s start by saying I love these headphones! The “Heavy Beats” description put me off at first – it makes them sound like they’re built for people who like subwoofers in their car so they can make the road shake. Well, they probably wouldn’t be disappointed… they’re great headphones with a really full sounding bass and mid-range response.

I’m using these at work currently and they’ve encouraged me to break out loeads of old albums, to hear what they sound like. I use some Grados at home and whilst these I-Megos don’t match the open, airy, natural sound of the Grados, they’re still excellent and the lower end response really adds a punch. I’ve listened to blues, rock, country, folk and hip hop with these ‘phones and I’ve enjoyed the sound of all the genres. The “full” sound can sometimes move the sound towards “muddy” but generally there’s still enough definition there to avoid displeasure.

They’re fun headphones – a bit too coloured to use as monitors but for just listening to your favourite music, they’re great. I’ve retired my Sennheisers to the drawer for now – they sound so tinny in comparison to these monsters.

I saw these reviewed in Stuff magazine and loved the look, they look far more expensive than they cost and are very well made. I’ve always used Sennheisers for listening on the Hi-Fi but needed some to go with an Ipod that I recently bought and the Sennheisers are too large for a portable device.
The first thing that hits you is the bass; it’s strong and makes the music sound amazingly full regardless of the genre. I listen to a variety of styles and the I-Mego’s perform really well, particularly with an Ipod (and also a Creative Zen) they are now my headphones of choice for the PC as well.
Well worth the money, look fantastic (if you like the retro look) and sound great.

I bought my first pair of these back in July for use with my iPhone. When they arrived I was immediately taken with the way they looked and sounded. Lots of nice comments on the style from friends and colleagues but unfortunately after about 6 weeks a loose connection in the headphone jack started to become apparent. This is the sort of problem I used to get with Walkman headphones when I was a kid. I’d hoped that manufacturers would have overcome this sort of thing.
I returned the first set for a straight swap and hoped the problem wouldn’t appear again but unfortunately 6 weeks later it did. I’ve just requested a return on my second pair and I’m now going for the retro Panasonic headphones this time. Maybe they will last a little longer than these did.
Shame really, they looked awesome!

Been using it for about a month and im not impressed. Very diffcult to get comfotable fit as its a bit flimsy. Certainly not sweatproof as it constantly slips and moves and because it does the sound quality diminishes. Bought this product because of the good reviews but personally this product is not very good for use when running or gym work. Still struggling to find a suitable product…… any ideas out there.

These new ones will do about 1500 pages! Wait til your current toner runs out before actually fitting the new one. Ensure all the toner is used up by taking the old cartridge out and shaking it gently and tapping it on the side to ensure all the toner is used up and none wasted. Replace the cartridge that comes with your printer as it runs out after about 1000 pages. These new ones will do about 1500 pages! Wait til your current toner runs out before actually fitting the new one. Ensure all the toner is used up by taking the old cartridge out and shaking it gently and tapping it on the side to ensure all the toner is used up and none wasted. When you are satisfied that its really empty (and its not just the printer telling you its empty) then you can fit the new one.
